Services

Infertility
Comprehensive management of couples with infertility.  This involves investigating and counseling regarding chances of a natural pregnancy, management of lifestyle issues, treating any underlying medical or surgical problems and assisted reproduction.

Assisted Reproduction
When people think of assisted reproduction most think that IVF is the only option. Whilst IVF a fantastic treatment for many, there may be several other options available.  I pride myself on spending the time to work out what is the best technique for my patients' individual situation, taking into account their needs and wishes.  I offer a comprehensive range of assisted reproductive techniques including ovulation induction, insemination, IVF, ICSI, and preimplanation genetic diagnosis.

Reproductive endocrinology
Helping women with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and irregular or absent menstrual periods, whether or not they are trying to conceive.  Management of women, trying to conceive, who have known endocrine conditions such as thyroid disease.

Fertility counseling/Fertility preservation/Egg freezing
Providing advice for women or couples looking to preserve fertility with egg or embryo freezing.

Donor Sperm

Donor Eggs
Treatment with donor eggs for advanced maternal age, poor egg quality, premature menopause and same sex male couples.

Surrogacy

Miscarriage management
Helping couples who experience recurrent miscarriage with investigation for underlying causes, and options for improving chances of a successful pregnancy next time.

Reproductive surgery
Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for endometriosis.  Hysteroscopic (scalpel-free) surgery for uterine abnormalities such as polyps, fibroids, septums and adhesions.  Testicular biopsies if required for diagnostic purposes, or collection of sperm for use with IVF in men that require this.

Costs
My philosophy of individualized care means I allow for long consultations and pride myself on spending enough time for my patients to be fully informed about their situation, with ample opportunity to have their questions thoroughly addressed.  Given this additional time I spend, I charge privately above the Medicare rebate.  Please contact my rooms for further information regarding consultation costs.
